Zivania is a traditional Cypriot spirit made from the distillation of pomace (leftover grape skins, seeds and stems). In fact, its name comes from the Cypriot word for pomace, which is zivana, Zivania typically has a high alcohol content, ranging from 40-50%. Platanis Zivania is clear and colorless, with a strong, clean taste. It has subtle fruity and earthy notes, and a warming, smooth finish. You can enjoy it chilled, as an aperitif or digestif. It is available at 45% ABV.
